Note: Around January 2018, the encoding used for this page was changed from ISO-8859-9 to UTF-8. If you had already added the above search engines to your browser, you first need to remove them and then re-add them using the links above.

If the above do not work, follow these manual steps:

For Firefox browser

1. Go to Settings / Search (or type about:preferences#search).
2. Scroll to Search Shortcuts and click Add.
3. For English→Turkish, fill in:
   Search engine name: CompDict E → T
   URL with... : https://www.kadifeli.com/cgi-bin/compdict.pl?HDDN=x&SD=E&SS=%s
   Keyword (optional): @kadifeli_e
4. For Turkish→English, add another entry with:
   Search engine name: CompDict T → E
   URL with... : https://www.kadifeli.com/cgi-bin/compdict.pl?HDDN=x&SD=T&SS=%s
   Keyword (optional): @kadifeli_t

For Chrome / Edge / Chromium browsers

1. From Settings search for Search engine
2. Click Add search engine.
3. For English→Turkish, fill in:
   Search engine: CompDict E → T
   Shortcut: @kadifeli_e
   URL with... : https://www.kadifeli.com/cgi-bin/compdict.pl?HDDN=x&SD=E&SS=%s
   
4. For Turkish→English, add another entry with:
   Search engine: CompDict T → E
   Shortcut: @kadifeli_t
   URL with... : https://www.kadifeli.com/cgi-bin/compdict.pl?HDDN=x&SD=T&SS=%s
