Delete Command

Purpose

The Delete command is used to remove any selected text from the notes information.

To delete text from the notes information

  1. Select the text you want to delete.
  2. From the Edit menu, choose Delete.
  3. Any selected text is deleted from the notes information area.

This command is unavailable if you have no selected text. Deleted text cannot be recovered, unless you immediately use the Undo command or the Restore command from the Card menu.

The menu command is provided for completeness. Just pressing the Del or Backspace key will do the same.
