Edit TRANSLIT File Command
Purpose
The Edit TRANSLIT File command is used for quickly accessing the TRANSLIT.TXT file that comes with NOTEFILE.
To edit the TRANSLIT.TXT file under a new instance of NOTEFILE
- From the Edit menu, choose Edit TRANSLIT File.
- A new instance of NOTEFILE will start running and the TRANSLIT.TXT file which is stored in the same directory as the NOTEFILE executable will be opened.
- You can edit and test the file as explained in the Translit File help topic.
- After you save this file, any modifications you make will take effect immediately.
You can continue working on your original NOTEFILE window while the TRANSLIT.TXT file is open in a separate NOTEFILE window.
