Open README File Command
Purpose
The Open README File command is used for quickly accessing the README.TXT file that comes with NOTEFILE.
To open the README.TXT file in a new instance of NOTEFILE
- From the Help menu, choose Open README File.
- A new instance of NOTEFILE will start, and it will open the README.TXT file stored in the same directory as the NOTEFILE executable file.
You can continue working on your original NOTEFILE window while the README.TXT file is displayed on a different NOTEFILE window.
Note: On the Linux version of NOTEFILE, the file name is in lower case.
Hint: You can use this command for quickly starting a new instance of NOTEFILE.
