Edit PSCRIPT File Command

Purpose

The Edit PSCRIPT File command is used for quickly accessing the PSCRIPT.TXT file that comes with NOTEFILE.

To edit the PSCRIPT.TXT file under a new instance of NOTEFILE

  1. From the PScript menu choose Edit PSCRIPT File.
  2. A new copy of NOTEFILE will start running and the PSCRIPT.TXT file which is stored in the same directory as the NOTEFILE executable file will be opened.
  3. You can edit and test the Pascal scripts in this file.
  4. After you save this file, you can use the Reload PScript command to reload the new copy of the scripts to the current or to another instance of NOTEFILE for further testing and usage.

You can continue working on your original NOTEFILE window while the PSCRIPT.TXT file is displayed on a different NOTEFILE window.

Note:

To be able to use your newly modified Pascal script(s), be sure to:

  1. save the updated PSCRIPT.TXT file and
  2. run the Reload PScript command on the NOTEFILE window that you want to run these script(s).
